RISC-V Community Interested in RapidIO
In case you missed the 2nd RISC-V Workshop, Rick O’Connor, Executive Director of RapidIO.org attended and provided a RapidIO update presentation on June 29, 2015. A YouTube video of the recorded presentation is shown below.
RISC-V (pronounced “risk-five”), a new instruction set architecture (ISA) originally designed to support computer architecture research and education, is now set to become a standard open architecture for industry implementations.
During the 30 minute presentation, Rick provided an overview of RapidIO and ongoing activities within the RapidIO.org community. There’s also a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
